Speaker Biography: Benjamin H. Nam, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education and a researcher in the Center for Comparative Study of Global Education at Shanghai International Studies University. Nam is a traditionally trained academic with a doctorate in Higher Education Administration and a specialization in Comparative and International Education. Accordingly, Nam’s current research interests and focus center on comparative and international higher education, adult learning and vocational education, and East Asian and cultural studies in education, sport, and the arts. He has taught courses related to his own academically disciplined areas, including global educational leadership, leadership in higher education, international communication, research ethics and academic norms, academic research writing, globalization from cross-cultural perspectives, and among others.
