Summary: In this lecture, Prof. Zalkin will discuss, from historical point of view, that complicated "journey" of the Jewish people, from a dispersed ethnic minority in late 19th-century Eastern Europe, to what is known today as a Start-up nation. He will discuss the contribution, as well as the problems of various social, religious and economic factors, in this process.
